Gunks NOt Dead 2026

Food: Friday night you're in for a treat, Pete aka Birdman, you all know him as @hoppedbirder, has offered to spin 12" pies till the dough runs out. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner for Saturday are also included! We'll also have vegetarian/vegan options available!

Camping: We have space for pop-ups, sprinter vans, tents, and hammocks. Bathrooms available on premises
Routes: Routes will be provided at check-in.
A gravel bike or cross bike, is optimal for the course, and a hard-tail mountain bike would also work well.
Aid Station: The Full Experience ATB and Diet ATB routes are the only routes with an aid station with snacks and hydration. We will also transport your lunch to the aid station. Be sure to carry snack, spare tubes, tools, pump, quick links and maybe a spare derailleur (kinda joking…kinda not…).
Course Description:
Full ATB Experience* - You'll smile. You might cry. You'll carry or push your bike. You may possibly have to walk a climb that is…paved. You'll probably, at some point, say “what the f***k” or “This is f***ed up.” Question what you are doing. But overall, you'll have a damn good time. Expect 45 miles of chunk and fun. While doable on ~42mm tire, the wider the better (trust us). Cool points for keeping the 26in life alive. For an optimal experience, FULL SUSPENSION IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
Diet ATB - Just a little taste of the ATB Experience. 90% rideabe mix terrain (rail trail, single track, gravel, road). Maybe like 1 or 2 short hike-a-bike sections. You can 100% get by with ~42mm tires. Expect ~30 mile
Gunks “Classic” - This a chill road & gravel ride that heads to a cool lunch spot (lunch not included on this ride). The reason this route has a ride cap is due to capacity limits at this spot. That said, we must respect this establishment by keeping this group small. If you are interested in doing this as a ride on Friday or Sunday please email us.
*If you have a catastrophic mechanical that prevents you from completing the route, you will receive a discount for the next Gunks Not Dead.
